Dimapur, July 9 (EMN): While underscoring the accommodative spirit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the advisor of Power department, Tovihoto Ayemi, stated that the party never underestimated or ignored anyone in the line of religion and geography.
Tovihoto said this while addressing the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) of Dimapur district during its executive meeting held on July 9 at Rongmei Customary Court, Burma Camp, Dimapur.
Citing instance of BJP presidential candidate, Droupadi Murmu, he stated that she will be the first tribal president and second women president if she gets elected.
He has appealed to the party workers to sacrifice their time and work for the party. Stating that BJY is one of the world’s largest forums, he asked them to be more active and give more of their time.
State BJYM president, Hosheto Awomi, stressed on the strictures and vision of the BJYM, while the Dimapur district president, Tokuho Suhoi Neho, also appealed to the youth to mold the future leaders.
