Dimapur, July 3 (EMN): Nagaland College Principals’ Association (NCPA), in collaboration with Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Unity College, organized a workshop on “Choice based credit system (CBCS) management for principals” at the seminar hall of Unity College, Dimapur, on June 28.
The program was chaired by Dr. Visakhonu Hibo, NCPA president and principal of Japfu Christian College, Kigwema, while Dr. Lichumo Enie, NCPA treasurer and principal of Unity College, delivered a welcome address and Dr. Nishena Nekha, NCPA vice president and principal of Zunheboto Government College, proposed the vote of thanks.
An update from the association stated that resource persons namely AG Samuel from Patkai Christian College spoke on “Implementation strategies,” while Teisovi Gerrard Meyase from Kohima Science College spoke on “FAQ of CBCS,” and Dr. Jamedi Longkumer from Dimapur Government College spoke on “CBCS structure, examination and assessment under Nagaland University.”
It stated that issues related to CBCS were discussed and clarified during the question and answer session.
Meanwhile, NCPA president informed that issues related to few disciplines have been forwarded to the Nagaland University for clarification and rectification.
