A blood donation camp was organized by the JCI Dimapur Creators in Dimapur on July 31.
Dimapur, August 1 (MExN): The members of JCI Dimapur Creators organized a blood donation camp in the premises of Amar Roller Flour Mill, Dimapur on July 31.
According to a press release on Monday, the JCI’s aim is to help Haemophilia and Thalassemia patients who need several units of blood when they have excessive bleeding (internal or external) after every injury or damage.
Dr Temsu Ao, a senior specialist and In-charge of Blood Donation Bank of Dimapur District Hospital and his team were present during the camp, the release stated.
It informed that the President of JCI organization is HGF Neeta Agarwal, Secretary HGF Meena Ajmera and Treasurer HGF CA Babita Agarwal. The project was headed by HGF Meena Sethi, LO Co-ordinator of ‘Need Blood Call Jaycee’ or NBCJ—a national level drive to help the needy blood victims during emergency.
Meanwhile, the organization expressed gratitude to all the 53 donors who came forward for the noble cause, as well as all members and supporters for their cooperation towards the success of the project.
