Informs on localized power shutdown

Dimapur, June 30 (MExN): All the cable TV operators and the Telecom service providers in Dimapur has been reminded and given 3 days time to remove their respective cables from electric poles owned by the Department of Power Nagaland (DoPN), an official notification informed today.

These cables are obstructing the progress of the work for the shifting of existing 11KV lines and LT distribution network to the newly constructed trunk lines in and around Dimapur, it said. Moreover, it is very messy and the aesthetic of the work is compromised, it added.

“No further notice will be served but wherever obstructions appear in shifting the utilities the cables will be cut off,” cautioned the notice issued by the Executive Engineer, Dimapur Electrical Division, Er Y Akito Sema.

For further clarifications, one may coordinate with the concerned Sub-Divisional Officer at O ​​/ O SDO (E) NO-I, PWD Junction. O / O SDO (E) NO-II, Burma Camp Power House, O / O SDO (E) NO-III, Behind DC office, it added.

Meanwhile, in connection with the shifting, the Division informed that there will be localized power shutdown across Dimapur from July 2-6 from 3-8AM. (See table)
